Pre-Convocation Get Together

The Department of Management Studies (DMS), IIT Delhi organized a first of its kind, pre-convocation get together for the 2016 DMS graduates to felicitate the achievers from the batch. The event was also a step towards welcoming the graduates’ home to remember, refresh, reconnect and look back with pride.

The commencement of the ceremonious night began with Prof. MP Gupta lighting the lamp. He also addressed the batch by congratulating the performers of the batch and enlightened the audience with his words of wisdom. The evening then proceeded towards awarding the high scorers starting with Mr. Akshat Lakhiwal who scored the highest CGPA in the MBA 2016 Fulltime batch. Following the league was Ms. Avinash Kaur, who bagged the highest CGPA in the MBA 2016 Part time batch.The crowd applauded once again when Ms. Sakshi Pandey was called on stage to receive the Sabita Karunesh Award.

The excitement of the night mounted manifold when the batch was invited to share the experiences of their journey at DMS. It was indeed a heartwarming moment, to see the faculty and fresh alumni generously sharing their time and experiences. Towards the culmination of the evening, everyone proceeded for high tea. While relishing the savory drinks and snacks, the batch sure had an enjoyable interaction with their peers and professors while taking a trip down the memory lane in the campus.
