The Department of Management Studies (DMS) at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi welcomed Mr. Sankalp Shrivastava, the Vice President of IT, Production CapEx, and Projects Buying at Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd., to be a part of their esteemed Corporate Chanakya Leadership Seminar Series. The seminar enriched students’ knowledge through the insights shared by industry veterans. Mr. Shrivastava, an alumnus of both IIT Kanpur and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, was invited to share his wisdom on the topic “Developing an agile and adaptable supply chain management system.”
With a remarkable career spanning over 27 years, Mr. Sankalp has demonstrated exceptional acumen in the field of Global Procurement and Supply Chain Management. His extensive experience encompasses a wide array of strategic and operational roles. He has honed his expertise in various realms including Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Contract Manufacturing, Materials Management, Vendor Development, Cost Optimization & Control, Product Costing, Project Management, and Profit & Loss (P&L) Management.
Mr. Sankalp’s vast experience has been accrued while serving industry behemoths like Marico, Coca-Cola, and The Times of India Group (BCCL). His tenure at these organizations has equipped him with a deep understanding and practical knowledge, which he shared with the aspiring managers and leaders at IIT Delhi.
