DMS, IIT Delhi, took immense pride in hosting a distinguished guest, Mr. Ankit Jhamb, Chief Learning Officer at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP. This event was part of our esteemed Corporate Chanakya Leadership Seminar Series, which is designed to provide our students with insights from some of the brightest minds in the corporate world. Mr. Jhamb’s session, centered around the intriguing theme of “Careers in Consulting,” has been a remarkable addition to our seminar series.
Mr. Ankit Jhamb brought to the table a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years in the financial and professional services sector. With a career that includes stints at renowned organizations such as American Express and KPMG, he has consistently demonstrated his prowess as an accomplished HR leader. His journey in the industry has seen him evolve into a highly effective Learning and Development (L&D) business partner, known for delivering results that create a substantial impact.
A testament to his excellence, Mr. Jhamb earned accolades and recognition throughout his career. Notably, he was named one of the “Top 100 Young HR Leaders under 40” in 2020. His exceptional achievements continued to shine, and in 2022, he was bestowed with the prestigious title of “India’s Young Mind.”
However, Mr. Jhamb’s influence doesn’t remain confined to the corporate world. He is the visionary founder behind the notable social initiative, “AAO KHILAYEIN,” which was established in 2016. This impactful initiative has since expanded its footprint, establishing five chapters across Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Jaipur, and Lucknow. Through AAO KHILAYEIN, Mr. Jhamb and his team have made a tangible difference in these communities, showcasing their commitment to giving back to society.
Mr. Jhamb’s contributions extend even further, as he is a prolific author. Over the past three years, he has authored an impressive collection of 10 books. Among his literary achievements, his third book, “Chasing Fireflies,” stands out. It propelled him to be recognized among the “Top 50 Authors in India” in 2021.
