IIC conducts the following activities throughout the academic year:

1. Leadership Webinar Series

To ensure continuous learning and bridge the gap between corporate and academia, IIC organizes a series of lectures by a senior leader from the industries. In an engaging session, the industry veteran shares his/her insights on a particular topic with DMS IIT Delhi’s larger audience. The main aim of Leadership Webinar Series is to keep students up to date with the recent changes, trends, and challenges that industries are facing.

2. Annual Conclaves 

IIC organizes the Annual Conclaves in various domains that provide a platform for exchanging ideas among the best business minds of different fraternities in the country. It attempts to bring the corporate and academia to deliberate on the issues and challenges faced by organizations and to share their experiences and views with a larger audience. The panel of esteemed speakers across the domains shares their insights on the theme of the conclave. The different conclaves organized by IIC are as follows:

• Horizon – The Annual HR Conclave

• Strategia – The Annual Strategy and Consulting Conclave

• Opera – The Annual Operations Conclave

• Confluence – The Annual Finance and Marketing Conclave

3. Building India Inc.

BII provides a platform for the exchange of ideas amongst the best corporate, government, and academic minds. BII is a business summit that attempts to bring together the government, corporate, and academia to deliberate on the nation’s technical and managerial issues and challenges and share their experiences and views with the larger audience. Building India Inc. witnesses active participation from top people in the corporate world, faculty from leading institutions, and top B-school students.

4. AARAMBH

Aarambh is a Business Plan competition conducted by the Industry Interaction Committee as part of Building India Inc. Aarambh provides a splendid opportunity for the upcoming student entrepreneurs and aspiring start-ups to pitch their ideas in front of the esteemed juries and creates a holistic network with the investors. It provides an opportunity for all entrepreneurs to realize their dreams. Generally, this competition includes 3 rounds, each one being an elimination round. The teams which are selected for the final rounds will get mentorship from the industry leaders. It helps to improve the ideas with valuable feedback and provides an overall stage for the development of budding start-ups
