Prof. Arvind Mahajan

Professor of Finance at Texas A&M University

Dr. Mahajan is the Texas A&M University System Regents Professor, holder of the Lamar Savings Professorship and is Professor of Finance at Texas A&M University. He is the Director of the Aggies on Wall Street Program, the M.S. (Finance) Program, and has served as the Associate Director of the Center for International Business Studies as well as of the federally funded Center for International Business Education and Research. He has served on the faculties of many universities. He specializes in the areas of international and corporate finance and his articles have appeared in all leading journals such as Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of Banking and Finance.

He is associate editor or on the editorial boards leading journals like Journal of Asia‐Pacific Business and Journal of Global Business and Competitiveness. He is recipient of many teaching awards including George H.W. Bush Excellence Award for Faculty in International Teaching, Texas A&M University Honors Program Teacher‐ Scholar Award, and MBA Association’s Dan Robertson Outstanding Faculty Award. The Wall Street Journal named him one of the most effective professors in its 2008 survey of all major Executive MBA programs in the world.
